Development Circles and Workshops

Reaching for the Soul

Understanding the self and the connection to the world of spirit is a never-ending journey that has no destination.  This workshop will suit those who have an openness to self-improvement and development, as well as improving their mediumship skills.   Working with mediumship requires dedication, persistence, and a willingness to learn, accept, and explore, reaching for their own soul, as well as reaching for those souls in the world of spirit.

Not only will you learn to attune to the world of spirit, but you will enhance your mediumship connection through understanding your own soul.

This workshop will include a talk, a tutorial, and several practical exercises.  All abilities are welcome, as there will be exercises for all levels of experience.

To book, contact Gloucester National Spiritualist Church.

Retreat Day – 25th May

This is a special day for you to take time out of your usual life to rest, restore, and explore.  This may be a day where you simply decide to give back to yourself some time to nurture yourself, re-energise, or even set some personal goals.  Whatever your individual need, this is an opportunity to be in nature, be with yourself, let go of your everyday life, and learn new ways of life, as the day entails meditations, sound baths, and breathwork, all set within the beautiful surroundings of Daisys Farm.

Camping is available for those who wish to stay for the weekend and fully let go and engage with nature.  Camping is £25 per pitch per night for 2 adults.

The Retreat Day is £65 and includes lunch and refreshments. We gather together at 10.30 a.m. for introductions, ending the day at 4.30 p.m.

The facilitators of this retreat will be Maria Di Michelle, Kardien Gerbrands, and Melanie Jones.

Maria Di Michelle is a Conscious Connected Breathwork Facilitator, Master NLP Practitioner, Coach, and Reiki Practitioner. She is passionate about creating a space for people to become aware of themselves through the power of their breath.  Maria loves to share her experiences of this healing modality and holds her sessions in a fun, non-judgmental, loving, and compassionate manner.

Kardien Gerbrands has a vast portfolio of experience as a mindfulness and meditation teacher.  He has been a practitioner for most of his adult life and loves to share his passion for the benefits that mindfulness and meditation can bring to your physical and emotional well-being.  He is also a musician who brings healing through sound baths with a collection of sound bowls, gongs, and other awesome instruments and sounds.

Breathwork is not advised for individuals with:

  • Epilepsy or any other seizure disorder
  • Glaucoma
  • Detached retina
  • History of severe mental health disorders

Summer Solstice Workshop - Mediumship Matters

The perfect day to embark on a workshop at Daisy’s Farm since you will be gathered in the yurt within beautiful surroundings of land and nature on the Summer Solstice!

The energies of the venue location is an immersion of wild nature! As well as those of the Summer Solstice, which means “standing still”, requires us to take stock and reflect on how mediumship matters, not only to us, to Society, but also our development and practise.

This is an intimate workshop, limited to 12 spaces, so that we can ensure a supportive, cohesive group that has the intention to not only learn and progress themselves but also to support one another in this never-ending journey of spiritual and personal development.

This workshop will cater to all levels, so if you are new to mediumship or experienced, maybe this appeals to you and is an opportunity to take the next step of your journey on this very special day.

Open Circle

The open circle is a supportive, non-competitive group, that looks to unfold your personal spiritual awareness.  Alongside the aspect of psychic and mediumship development, we practice meditation, prayer, philosophy, and most importantly personal development, since this goes hand in hand with spiritual awareness.

All attendees will receive guidance to work and practice at their level of experience, and you can be sure to find a friendly group of people who will welcome and support you.

Course date: Tuesdays
Times: 7.00 p.m. until 9.00 p.m.
Cost: No charge, we do request a donation.
Location: Shrivenham Memorial Hall, Shrivenham, near Swindon.

Successful Mediumship

To be a successful medium it is important to use ALL of the psychic senses.  We often find that we feel comfortable with one type of sense and fail to explore or recognize the others, even though they are within our reach.

This workshop will delve into all of the Senses used to give a successful mediumship message and will include talks, as well as tutorials on each psychic sense.  You will be fully guided into recognizing and unfolding those senses.

Participants are required to be able to link with spirit since the two-day workshop provides several practice opportunities in pairs and groups.

Course date: 4th and 5th January 2025
Times: 10.00 a.m. until 4.00 p.m.
Cost: £50 for the weekend.
Location: The Baptist Hall, Stroud.
