About Me
I had the fortune to grow up on a farm during my childhood. This experience allowed me to be immersed in nature from a young age. Farming teaches us about our relationship with our earth and all its inhabitants, including plant growth and, most importantly, the elements of our land, earth, water, air, and fire.
All of these elements play a vital part in our lives, not only the earth to live on and grow on but the need for water to feed and grow, the fire to keep us warm and burn disease and waste, and air for us to breathe, winds to dry wet sodden lands. But not just for us, but for all the “living” on our lands, plants, insects, and animals. Worms are needed to aerate the soil, to become food for the birds following the rains, and bees to pollinate our plants, our plants being food for us and our animals, the list and the interconnectedness of all living things is endless and necessary for our survival.
Experiencing farming life meant “field to fork” really was true! Everything we ate came from the farm, from vegetables to fruit to animals. As a child, this certainly brought home the experience of life and physical death since it is a part of daily life and firmly placed our reliance on the earth and the elements of nature to feed us as a family and the population.

As an inquisitive child, this led me to question not only aspects of our physical world but also the world beyond the physical, the purpose of life, and how we interrelated with other living beings, such as animals. I knew that we had a soul and a psychic ability, I was taught about our sixth sense and gut instinct from my family. Farming means you are close to your instincts. When around animals, you communicate through body language, but also your senses, feelings, and instincts. Animal reactions and behaviours can change at any moment, so our senses are heightened.
My sixth sense certainly was active growing up and was a natural part of life, it was nothing unusual or extraordinary, just usual to me. My grandmother would talk about the man she met on the landing when she came to stay for Christmas every year, complaining about how he walked up and down the landing keeping her awake each night, so talking about spirit was normal in my family. We always knew we had a soul that continued after physical death, and that this physical existence was just a part of our life. I often wondered though about the animals, and how many thousands or millions there must be in the world of spirit since many were born, and then killed to be eaten by everyone.

Teenage years came and went by, I used to know things about situations or events, sometimes just playing out in my head. They were not always pleasant things, but hey, you just convince yourself things are not quite what you have just sensed. It was not until I moved to London in my twenties that I started visiting a Spiritual Church and truly understanding this sense.
Being a young adult, I dabbled in my development with no consistency or structure, more of an inquisitive nature, witnessing demonstrations of mediumship and reading about the best mediums of the past. My favourites at that time were Estelle Roberts with philosophy from her guide Red Cloud. Ursula Roberts and her guide Ramadahm also captured my attention and the extraordinary healing experiences that took place through Harry Edwards I found fascinating.
My personal spiritual development and awareness had taken a back seat whilst establishing a career as an Accountant. It was not until I moved from London back to my hometown in my thirties that I joined a spiritual circle, known as an open circle. Here we could develop our senses, with the guidance of an established medium, practicing communicating with spirit and giving messages to others in the group.
My attendance was sporadic, but I had a pull to keep developing, as I knew this was my pathway. I went from circle to circle seeking the right one for me, the right teacher, but kept moving on for one reason or another. Finally, I found my teacher by chance, saw him demonstrate mediumship, and knew he would be my teacher. I travelled many miles for his teaching, but I was right, those instincts were correct since everything was falling into place. At last, my connection to the world of spirit could be expressed in the right way, for the right reasons, that would make sense.
Eventually, after some years, I knew it was time to leave my established career, and by then I was a Business Finance Manager in the Corporate World. I was living two lives, with Monday to Friday in the office, weekends offering readings from Avebury and serving Spiritualist Churches, and teaching mediumship in the evenings at a weekly open circle, they were no longer compatible, it was exhausting. The demands on my time meant I had to make a choice, and I decided this was the perfect time to leave my Finance career, it was time to move on.
This coincided with the pandemic in 2020, so my plans went a little astray. I could not offer readings, teach, or serve any Churches I was at a loose end. One day, I took my niece and nephew to Avebury to wander around the stone circle, since they were rather bored from not being at school, and so was I. It was quite strange that day, as there was no one in sight. It was strange to witness the site so empty when previously there were coaches full of tourists, and I would be fully booked with visitors eager for a reading.
As soon as we stepped into the field with the stone circle, my six-year-old nephew pointed and shouted, “look!”, “look!”…. “what?” I asked, and he said “there!”, “there!”, “an angel is sitting on top of that stone!”. I responded by nodding, agreeing, smiling, and taking a photograph of the stone. It was this moment that led me to paint the image of the stone and the Angel sat on top.
This became the first painting of many and continued for the next year until I completed painting the forty outer stones of the circle. I had the paintings made into an Oracle deck which led to becoming “The Avebury Oracle” within the next six months. This deck was the first exclusive oracle pack dedicated to the Avebury Stone Circle. This pack became a tool for readings, for teaching others in psychic development, and is sold in several outlets throughout Britain.
Life certainly has a way of guiding us in the direction we need, even if it’s not as we intended. After the lull of the pandemic things took off for me in terms of readings, teaching, and community gatherings. The break I had from “normal life”, which was hectic with no time to think, allowed me to assess and have a much-needed re-think. This led me to diversify the small piece of land at the back of my house to become a campsite.
The campsite known as “Daisys Farm”, strives to be different from the usual campsite, it is rustic, small, and spacious, with a few geese to view, and a collection of wild birds roaming the skies flying to and from the woods. The campsite brings together the community, since it offers meditations, workshops, and fire gatherings, to name just a few of the various activities that take place.
The aim of all the services, whether individual readings, workshops, or community gatherings, is to help and inspire each of us to understand the essence of who we truly are through finding the spirit that is within. To demonstrate and discover that we are all truly interconnected with nature and each other. All of the services offered seek to bind us together in harmony as a community, bringing healing to one another, so that the spirit and divine essence of who we are can be expressed and lived in this lifetime, not waiting for the next.
